Self-Description

I never really know how to answer this, so I will just list off words that I think describe me: dork, short, busy, passionate, messy but yet still organized, efficient, dependable, loyal, independent, honest (I really can not lie; I usually laugh or smile when I am lying), and random. I'm the friend that you come to with all your problems, I always have an open ear and will tell it to you straight up, I don't really sugar coat things.

Why AGD?
My path to AGD was a little different than everyone else's. I never intended on rushing a sorority. While I was a sophomore, a friend who lived in the dorms with me freshman year suggested that I just come up to the house and check it out. I kept insisting that I wasn't the sorority type and didn't think it was for me, but she kept encouraging me to just come up and hang out one time. So I did and I ended up loving it. All the girls I met were really cool and down to earth and they were just as involved as I was. I knew this would be exactly the thing to keep me busy and entertained. I have never once regretted my decision and I love being a part of this house.

Favorites:
TV
The Mole, Greek, America's Next Top Model, Beauty and the Geek, and Lipstick Jungle
Movies
Anything with Adam Sandler, Fallen, Fight Club, American History X, the Departed, I am Sam, and so many more. I mostly like suspense and comedy.
Music
I love classic rock. My favorite bands are Queen, Journey, and Foreigner. If it's from the late 70s or 80s, I probably jam to it every day.
Ice Cream Flavor
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough
Color
Orange, Blue, Red

Favorite Alpha Gam moment?
I would say there isn't really one moment, it's all the little moments. Having movie marathons, creating our own TV show, camping, tailgating, I can't just pick one good time, although participating in last spring's Grand Prix serenades is an experience I'll NEVER forget.

Favorite part of living in the house
I love living in the house, because there is always something to do. Whatever I am in the mood for there is at least one other person who is in the mood for it too. Also, whenever I am down there is someone there to support me and build me back up.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would go to Guadalajara, Mexico. I love the Latin culture and Guadalajara is full of culture. It is a modern city with tons of history and beautiful sites.

What do you enjoy doing?
Watching movies, playing video games, going out, helping others ( I really do mean that), and taking photos.

What makes you unique?
I'm well known for saying random witty things. My roommates frequently quote me on things and they often appear in away messages. Also, I'm a very curious individual so I look things up on Wikipedia all the time.

What is the oddest thing in your room?
In high school, one of my friends gave me a master chief (from halo) action figure for my birthday. We used to play to make fun of our guy friends that would have marathons. I have named him "El Jefe".

What foods do you dislike?
I really can not stand peanut butter!  The smell, the taste, the texture...yuck!  I almost wish I was allergic to it so people would stop calling me crazy.  Almost.  I also do not like ketchup (even though I LOVE tomatoes) or cornbread (including corndogs).  This causes a lot of people to accuse me of not being American.

Future Goals
My ultimate life goal is to visit every central and South American country. I really love the Latin American culture and there are so many gorgeous places to see. Career wise, I'd love to go into marketing for a large company somewhere in the Midwest.  Also, after spending so much time on creating this webpage, I have really come to enjoy it and I may incorporate it into a side hobby.

You've just been given $500 to spend however you like, what would you spend it on?
I'd grab two friends and have a night on the town in Chicago. It's not the things you own that matter, but the memories you possess.
