Kristin Leaman who has been accepted into the one-year MA program in Medieval Icelandic Studies at the University of
Iceland in Reykjavik. The program is taught in English by both American and
Icelandic Professors. She'll be working with manuscripts in the Arni Magnusson
Institute for Icelandic Studies as well as learning about Viking archaeology,
sagas, Old Icelandic and Icelandic, and many others. She'll
be there roughly from August 2008 to August 2009, and then plans to be off to a PhD
program somewhere. Congratulations, Kristin!
