Frank Tobienne's revised MA thesis (The Position of Magic in Selected Medieval Spanish Texts) has been accepted for publication by Cambridge Scholars Publishing.

Frank Tobienne presented a paper titled "Power Structures in the Arthurian Court, or a Foucauldian Critique on Laughter" at the Medieval Association of the Midwest (MAM) Conference at Indiana State University, Terre Haute, IN in October.

Jack Baker presented a paper titled "'For Leveful is With Force Force
Of-Showve': Power-Over and the Reeve’s Tale" at the Princeton University
Graduate Conference in Medieval Studies, at Princeton University, New
Jersey on March 31, 2007.

Karen Robinson presented a paper titled "The Riddle of The Wife's Lament: A New Reading of the Poem" at the 42nd International Congress on Medieval Studies in Kalamazoo, Michigan, in May.

Karen Robinson received the Peter C. Braeger graduate award in the 76th Annual Literary Awards Competition at Purdue University for her essay titled "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight Illustrations as Clues for a Political Context of the Poem."

Jack Baker received an honorable mention for the Peter C. Braeger graduate award in the 76th Annual Literary Awards Competition at Purdue University for his essay titled "Heroism and Hlisa: The Transition from Secular Fame to Saintly Fame in Three Old English Texts."
