D.R.I.V.E.N (Diversity and Retention Initiatives through Volunteering, Education, and Networking) is an organization in the School of Liberal Arts that was formed to provide multicultural students with networking, mentoring, educational opportunities, and leadership skills that will improve the range of contact opportunities and success upon graduation as well as increasing academic success through college. We will: >>Encourage scholarly and professional attitudes and performances among Liberal Arts students. >>Provide academically oriented services to Liberal Arts students. >>Strengthen the relationship between the community, faculty, and multicultural Liberal Arts students. >>Stimulate public awareness of the Liberal Arts departments and the opportunities for students in the field of Liberal Arts.
