I will be a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in the department of Statistics at Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN) since September 2008. My major research area is in Bioinformatics. I am focusing on gene comparison and multiple hypothesis test this summer. I transferred from the department of Statistics at University of Pittsburgh in fall, 2006. I worked for Prof. Wesley Thompson (Dept. Of Statistics) and Prof. Marcela Horvitz-Lennon (Dept. of Psychiatry) as a graduate research assistant when I studied in Pittsburgh, PA. I like the weather in either Pittsburgh or West Lafayette because they are quite similar to my hometown. |
