Weblog Project Development

We've been posting about possible topics for the collaborative weblogs: music, writing, television, news, and politics have been some of the most popular ideas so far. As we form groups today, we need to think about how we will structure the groups and the weblogs. Some questions to consider in your group today are listed below. After contemplating and discussing these questions, designate one person to write a post to the class weblog that addresses the questions below. Make sure that the designated group member posts sometime before Thursday.

Who are the members of your group?

What is the topic or theme of your weblog? Write a short paragraph that explains the concepts and reasons why you will be writing this weblog.

Do you have an idea for a title yet? If so what is it?

What software/hosting are you considering using for your weblog and where will it be located?

Will one person be responsible for coordinating the technical setup of the blog? If so, who is that person?

What will be the role of each group member in the development of your weblog over the next two weeks (will one person do design the site? one person do research? one person to draft the proposal memo?)?

Any questions you have for your instructor or other class members?

Don't forget to post to the class weblog before class on Thursday.
