Mission / Purpose:

The primary purpose of this organization is to serve as a liaison on behalf of the non-traditional students pursuing degrees through the Lafayette Statewide Technology location, SIA, to the administrators of Purdue University.

The general nature of the business to be transacted and the objects on purposes for which the organization is formed shall be as follows:

  • To promote and foster unity among non-traditional students at the Lafayette Statewide Technology location.

  • To promote the professional and educational advancement of Organizational Leadership and Supervision and Industrial Technology students.

  • To serve as a voice of the non-traditional students emphasizing the balance of work, family, and the need for a strong educational experience.

  • To disseminate information on all subjects of interest to the non-traditional students.

  • To maintain relationships with other professional organizations.

  • Serve as ambassadors in recruitment of potential non-traditional students.
