Some helpful conventions and constants (not inclusive list, consider these as examples only):

Physiological saline = 0.9% NaCl = 0.9 gram NaCl/100 ml water

Total blood weight = 7.0 % of body weight (BW) (an overall average)

Density of blood (and water)= 1 kg/liter or 1 gram/ml (these values are rounded from real value of 1.05 kg/liter-for blood)

Normal PCV = 45 % (an overall average)

One gallon = 3.8 liters = 8.3 lbs. = 4 quarts (qts.) = 8 pints (pts.) = 16 cups = 128 fluid oz.

One meter = 39.37 inches = 10dm = 100 cm = 1000 mm

One pound = 454 grams = .454 kg = 16 oz.

One kg = 2.2 lbs. = 1,000 g = 1,000,000 mg = 1,000,000,000 ug = 1,000,000,000,000 ng

1 dl = 100 ml = 0.1 liters (l), 500 g = 0.5 kg, 1 ml = 1,000 ul, 1 ml = 1 cc
