About Purdue Badminton Club

The aim of the club is to bring together all badminton players at Purdue University and in Greater Lafayette by offering a healthy environment for competitive badminton and to clear the misconception of badminton as a typical "American backyard game".

We would like to present badminton in its true - more aggresive - nature and emphasize the game as a test of skill as well as physical fitness. The club organizes competitions with other universities like IU and University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and also takes part in regional tournaments organized by various badminton organizations. In addition to that, the club takes part in the Intramurals every Spring.

We welcome players who would like to play competitive badminton, as well as players who seek only a recreational sport that will give them a good workout and offer a technical challenge.
