You've all taken introductory composition in one form or another.  Many of you took English 106 and 108.  Others may have taken the old sequence of courses known as English 101 and 102, or you may have transferred in credit from another institution or an AP English class.

Briefly describe your introductory composition experience.  Which course did you take and when did you take it?  If you took English 106 or 108, describe what you think was the syllabus approach your instructor used.  If you took another sequence of courses, describe them, and identify what you think are the differences between the course you took and the new English 106/108 course.
