Welcome to Fast Track, Purdue University’s student television news

February 21st, 2012

Students in COM 408-409 decide what stories will be covered, shoot and edit the stories and act as anchors or crew during the in-studio production of the newscast. Each week during the semester, the “Trackers” produce a half hour show that includes feature news from the Purdue campus and community. The “Trackers” often cover stories about ground breaking research at Purdue, as well as some fascinating human interest stories that make up the Boiler Nation.

We would love for you to explore our website and see the great team of students who put the show together each week. Check out the biographies of this diverse group, the behind the scenes photos, and the archive of past shows. We would love to hear your ideas on stories that you would like to see covered. Please feel free to suggest one. If you are a student interested in broadcasting, you might want to visit our resources page. You can also see the shows on our YouTube channel.

If you subscribe, you’ll find out each time we upload a new show! Become a fan of the show and keep up with what’s going on by adding us on Facebook.
