Scott Schroeder,  B.S., Indiana State University, 1992

Director, Communication Technology Center

Scott’s primary interests are in television production and technology, specifically in the area of documentary and educational video production.

Before coming to Purdue, he gained extensive experience in producing, directing, and editing many types of video including documentary, educational, corporate, public affairs, sports, and commercials in both the field and studio. Many of his videos have gained local and national recognition including three Indiana Cable Television Awards, two local Addy Awards and a national Videographer Award. At Purdue, Scott has developed courses that expand the minds of his students through hands-on community service learning projects. The students get a chance to develop communication skills on a variety of levels as they work with real clients to produce real video projects to better our local community.
