Fast Track Community Calendar 2/26/09-3/7/09

If you and your pals are looking for a fun time we have a few hints for you in this weeks community calendar!

*For you Basketball fans the men’s team is gong against Ohio State Saturday February 28th at 4p. So grab your tickets ASAP!!

*If you’re a James Bond fanatic The Union Rack and Roll is showing Quantum of Solace March 1st from 8p-10p along with unlimited billiards and bowling. Purdue Students with their PUID’s pay only $5!

*BIG REMINDER YOUR FAFSA IS DUE MARCH 1st! So don’t forget to grab your paperwork and file online at www.fafsa.ed.gov. If you need assistance call the Purdue Division of Financial Aid at 765-494-0998. You can also find tips and hints on www.fastweb.com.

*The Women’s Resource Office is sponsoring a lecture on “The Girl in the Tangerine Scarf” by Mohja Kahf in Stewart Center Room 322. Join them March 2nd at 4:30p and engage in discussion of books themes with lecturer Ms. Lynne Dahmen.

*Purdue Theater is presenting Dracula in the Hansen Theater of Pao Hall March 4-7 at 7:30p. There will be an additional afternoon showing March 7th at 3p.

*Intramural Entry sign ups for outdoor soccer, softball, 3v3 basketball, 4v4 sand volleyball and dodgeball are due March 4. Grab your friends and sign up at your local residence halls!

*The Black Cultural Center is presenting the Harriet Jacobs series in Humanities and the Arts March 5 at 3p. The featured series will be presented in BCC room MP1. Contact Ms. Matilda Stokes for registration info.

*The Irish Tenors will pair up with the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra March 6th at 8p in Elliott Hall of Music. The Tenors will be performing traditional Gaelic folk songs, ballads and medleys. The tickets are $2-$38 for adults and $15-$25 for individuals 18 and under.

*Fowler Hall is showing The Wizard of Oz with The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd as the soundtrack! You can catch this unconventional showing March 6th at midnight. Tickets are only $2 for students and $4 for non students.
