Add/Customize Streams
A Stream is a quick view into the results from a set of saved search criteria in Scholar. It appears as a content box with a list of bookmark links. When you create your Scholar account, two default streams, All Bookmarks and My Bookmarks, are automatically added in your My Scholar Homepage.

There are several ways to add a new Stream in your Scholar Homepage.
From Homepage:
Click “Add a Stream” in the homepage and a setup box will appear.

The list of Saved Searches shows up. Click one you like to create its stream. If a stream is already displayed, the radio button of its saved search will show as inactive in the list. Enter the number of results that you would like to display in a stream.
If you don’t have a search result in the list you need, start a new search. When you click the “Start New Search” button, it will move to the “Advanced Bookmark Search” page.
When you add a new stream, it will appear in the upper left corner of the homepage.

From Search Results:
When you search bookmarks using an Advanced Bookmark Search option, you can add a stream from the search results page. Click the “Save” button and a set up box will appear.

Enter a name/title of the stream and check in which homepage you want to add this stream. You can add it to your Scholar Home, Scholar Course Home (as an instructor), or both. Click “Save” and you will see a new stream displayed in the upper left corner of the homepage.
You can edit the number of bookmarks displayed in a stream by clicking the "Edit List" button available in a lower right corner of a stream. When you click “View All”, the search results page will appear.

You can minimize/remove/move a stream in the homepage. Click the close button (an "X" icon) in the upper right corner of the stream that you want to remove. Even though a Stream is removed, the Saved Search is not removed until you delect it from the list of Save Searches. You can add the removed stream back by adding a new stream of it again.
When you change the position of a stream, click the move button in the upper right corner of the stream and hold it to drag the stream to a new location. You can display a stream in a desirable position on the homepage.

A Stream of Second Life has been relocated from the left to the right side.
