This site was designed with the purpose of constructing the story of my ancestors, based on the bits and pieces of information that are available. By understanding how they lived, I can look at how my family has changed over time. Numerous websites have lists of names, birth and death dates, and maybe an occasional personal comment, but no real story. Any actual storyline has to be built upon those bare names and numbers. I focused specifically on the Anspaugh line, but a history such as this could be written for any of my family lines. Hopefully this site will illustrate why I am proud of my family history, and perhaps inspire others to do research on their own family trees.
