Quid Est?

People like blogs. This is mostly for me to test blogging software for people on web.ics. I don’t think people really care what I think about most stuff, but there are some things I should scribble down. That’s what I’m talkin’ about.

I do most of the support for web.ics (among other things), but none of my comments should be construed as The Word of ITaP. This is not an official publication of any sort. It may be informative, but let’s cheat like “psychics” do and say this: For Entertainment Purposes Only.

Hi, ab! Do you know about Simon Tatham’s Puzzle Collection? If not, you might want to consider adding it to your puzzle links page. My personal favourites are Loopy/Slitherlink and Bridges/Hashi, both of which can be customized in all sorts of interesting ways. In Loopy, for example, you can create grids with different types of tiling, such as triangular or honeycomb; in Bridges, you can increase the max. number of bridges in any particular direction from 2 (the default) up to 4.
