Robert Bauters is a senior, from Akron, Indiana, studying Accounting, Management and Finance. His plan for the upcoming school year is to finish his undergraduate degree and complete the 150 credit requirement with a Master's of Science in Accounting or Taxation, as he is applying to several programs this semester. He will finish in May 2014 with 150 credits and then plans take the Becker Fast-Pass course after graduation. This upcoming summer (2013) he has accepted a tax internship position with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Houston, Texas.

Robert has been with the Purdue Accounting Association for 4 years, starting his freshman year at Purdue, serving as a leader in the Development Committee in 2010. In 2011, Robert served as Vice President and was in charge of the Development Committee and completed 5 projects and launched the Tutoring Committee for the PAA. Currently Robert is Chairman of Professional Events for the second year in a row (2012 and 2013) and organizes 12 to 15 professional events and 3 to 4 office visits each semester.

In addition to his current position with the PAA, he is also currently the Vice President of Professional Events of the Management Information Systems Association, a Campus Representative for Becker Professionals, and is a volunteer tax preparer for low income families with United Way.

Robert was a two-year Credit Analyst Intern at Lake City Bank during the summer and winter of 2011 and 2012. During this internship, he prepared financial statements to construct loan submission analysis to determine client's health and he also conducted inventory (floor plan) audits and site visits with the full-time Credit Analysts.
