Arec Hess is a junior majoring in Accounting and Management with a concentration in Analytical Consulting. He plans to be a Certified Public Accountant after he graduates in May of 2015. While keeping the importance of his career in mind, he hopes to manage personal investment funds in his spare time.
Arec has been with the Purdue Accounting Association since his sophomore year at Purdue. He has been apart of the Development Committee, attained Member of the Month (Oct 2012), and has claimed victory in several social events accompanied by teammates. Since joining the PAA, he has also been apart of the Investment Club, Operations and Supply Chain Organization, and Global Business Brigades. His heart lies in the scope of accounting, but he still loves learning about the business space as a whole.
In addition to the PAA and other clubs, Arec likes to stay active on campus participating in intramurals such as disc golf, indoor/outdoor soccer, and racquetball. In the future he hopes to get involved with ultimate frisbee, water polo, and water basketball.
Arec is currently seeking an internship in the accounting field for the summer of 2013.
