Arnold Air Society affords its members an excellent opportunity for command experience. In its administrative aspects, the Society offers many opportunities for work and valuable training for the active member. Within the Society, cadets find fellowship and become acquainted with many of the officers in the AFROTC program. The Society, through its participation with the Air Force Association, aids members in gaining an understanding and appreciation of aerospace power for national security. Finally, the Society, through its meetings and other activities, develops a valuable 'esprit de corps.' Such a group consciousness among its members, coupled with the improved officer/cadet relationship fostered by the Society, leads directly to a stronger, more efficient Cadet Wing.
