In order to start the practice test, please:
1. Attach your microphone to your computer.
2. If your microphone has a on/ off switch, turn the
microphone ON.
3. Attach your headphone/ speakers to your computer.
4. Make sure that the volume on your computer is set
appropriately for your listening comfort.
5. IMPORTANT: If you start the test, PLEASE TRY TO COMPLETE
IT IN ONE SITTING (1 hour).
6. The display settings of your screen should have
the resoultion of 1024 by 768 pixels. You can set the
display settings by clicking Start-->Control Panel--> Display
--> Settings--> Screen resolution.
7. If you want to repeat the practice test, delete
the following file:
C:\WINDOWS\A5W_DATA\Purdue's Oral English Practice Test.rec
or C:\WINNT\A5W_DATA\Purdue's Oral English Practice Test.rec
