What is Aikido?
Aikido is a Japanese martial art that is principled in natural laws. Students study fundamental and efficient body movement in order to train the mental and physical
reactions that the body has to aggression. The foundation of training is the development of one's "center" and "balance". The tools of training are the techniques developed
by Morihei Ueshiba O Sensei, Aikido's Founder. If you have any questions about our club, please feel free to contact us at
aikido@expert.cc.purdue.edu. Please be sure to
include the name of our club/martial art in the subject line or else your message will be deleted
for spam-avoidance purposes.
