Self-Description
I am a Junior at Purdue. My absolute favorite year was my freshman year. Going through BGR and meeting all sorts of new people, especially the wonderful girls on my floor of Shreve made me realize Purdue was definitely the perfect choice for me. I love to surf the internet and find useless facts about anything. I’m really in to learning about the human body and pretty much anything on the Discovery Channel. I get really bored with my cell phone choice very easily. I have a boyfriend of going on five years. I’m pretty random when it comes to my day. I also have a very short attention span when it comes to homework, until it comes to finals, then I’m stuck in my room for hours studying. I am an only child, but I have two older half-sisters (we have the same dad) and an older step-sister and a younger step-sister. My younger step-sister is pretty much my best friend; her laugh can make anyone laugh. I have three dogs, a Boxer named Daisy, a Dachshund named Buster, and a Boston Terrier named Katie.

Why AGD?
I chose AGD, because the girls there were just incredibly genuine. Their philanthropy really appealed to me and I never had a bad conversation while I rushed. AGD was honestly in the back of my mind while going through rush but once I started to narrow down the houses I enjoyed, they really began to stick out for me and I realized that I was picking a house and would make me completely happy to live in for the next two years.

Favorite Alpha Gam Moment
I think practicing for recruitment, the funny talks we have at formal dinners, singing with Barb and all the other alumnae has been hilarious, but I think the whole experience of being an Alpha Gam has just begun for me and there’s still another two years of memories waiting to be made.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would go to Russia. It sounds weird but I've always wanted to go there. More than that, I've wanted to speak Russian as long as I remember. My doctor speaks it fluently because he goes to Russia to deliver medical supplies once a year and it's always interested me.

What do you enjoy doing?
I am a big movie buff and I'm a huge fan of House. When I'm not studying (which is never), I try to go to a movie or sit down with friends and catch an episode of House or another one of our favorite TV shows and just try to relax and not think about that impending test.

What makes you unique?
I would say I'm a big nerd. haha. I'm a wealth of useless information and facts. I would also have to say I'm pretty spontaneous when I'm in a good mood and I'm not bogged down with 100 things to do. I’m a Diabetic and anyone who knows me would say that if you don’t know anything about me, would know that I’d rather you ask me about my Diabetes than not ask and get it wrong when I need help.

What do you miss the most about home?
I would have to say that being way from home is hard at times. I went through a lot of bad roomies sophomore year so it wasn’t easy. I miss being able to come home after classes and eat dinner with my family and just relax and hang out with them. I also miss my dogs so much. They’ve all got their own personalities and I miss being able to curl up in a blanket and not having a dog to come snuggle with me.

Future Goals
I would love to be able to work with college or pro-level athletes and design rehabilitation programs for injured athletes. I want to find that perfect two-story home relatively close to my family, have two or three kids and settle down to a family.

You've just been given $500 to spend however you like, what would you spend it on?
Hopefully I would be able to talk myself out of spending it all and put it in savings so I can make even more of that $500...hopefully.
