Self-Description

At first glance, I'm really shy and quiet, but once you get to know me I'm the exact opposite! I love meeting new people and having conversations about the most random things. I'm a very relaxed person and it takes a lot for me to get really mad which is a pretty rare occurrence. My family is the most important thing in my life. There's nothing more relaxing to me than curling up on the couch and watching a movie...but don't get me wrong, I love to go out and have a great time with my girls! Lastly, I love all things Purdue...I wish college would never end!

Why AGD?
Honestly, the Alpha Gams were the only ones who seemed real and down to earth. When I went back on the last day of rush, I just felt like I belonged. Now, every time I go to the house I feel like I'm at home.

Favorites:
TV
Seinfeld (I'm obsessed! Come watch it with me!), Friends, Sex and the City, My Boys, Grey's Anatomy
Movies
The Blues Brothers, Serendipity, You've Got Mail, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, Jerry McGuire, Hitch, The Break Up
Music
There's a variety of music that I like...sometimes I feel a little bit country and other times I feel a little bit rock and roll but my favorites are Michael Buble (I'm pretty much in love with him), Justin Timberlake, Kenny Chesney, Timbaland
Ice Cream Flavor
Cherry Garcia from Ben and Jerry's
Color
pink, green, yellow, turquoise

Favorite Alpha Gam moment?
No matter where we go, Alpha Gams make everything fun. We love to bust out the random dance parties!

Favorite part of being in the house?
My favorite part of being an Alpha Gam is knowing I have a whole house full of wonderful young ladies who will stand behind me through thick and thin. They're there for me when I have my good days and bad days. It's a great feeling to know that I can talk to them about my worst days or share my best days with them.

If you could go anywhere, where would you go and why?
I would travel anywhere warm!!! I'm sick of the cold weather in Indiana! Probably Mexico or the Bahamas sounds good.

What do you enjoy doing?
I love going out to dinner and a movie. There's nothing more fun to me than sitting down to share a meal with your good friends and create new memories.

What makes you unique?
I laugh at everything. Even if it's not funny or the dumbest thing, I'll still laugh. It's not hard, just try me!

Why did you choose Purdue?
When I was a little kid my mom dressed me up like a Purdue cheerleader for Halloween one year and it was all downhill from there. My cousin Julie came here and I remember visiting her for Bug Bowl when I was around 7 years old and just thinking "Wow I want to be just like her." And now I actually am. I saw how much she and her brother enjoyed their experience here and I wanted that too. There was no choice for me, it was Purdue or bust. Becoming a Boilermaker was the best decision I have ever made (next to choosing AGD of course).

Future Goals
I grew up in the Chicago area so my dream is to one day live downtown and work for the Chicago Bears or the Chicago Cubs in their public relations department. Chicago is home to me and always will be and while I may not get there right after college, I know I'll end up there.

You've just been given $500 to spend however you like, what would you spend it on?
While I have way too many purses, I'd probably buy another one. Yes, I know I should donate some of that money or use it towards something school related but I love Coach and Kate Spade bags. And then I'd probably buy ones for my Mom and Aunt because I get my obsession for a good bag from them.
