Chartered: 1968

Location: We are located at the top of the Acres at 1010 David Ross Road along the Tower Acres bus route.

The Beta Xi Chaper is recognized as a 5 star chapter.  We are also an 8th year Jewel society member, which means that we have donated at least $2000 to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation.  We were recognized at the AGD 2008 Convention as the chapter with 95 women or more to have the most improved GPA

The Beta Xi Chapter, chartered in 1968, is the 99th installment of Alpha Gamma Delta.  Alpha Gamma Delta made it's presence known on the Purdue campus from the very start.  Our very first pledge class consisted of 86 members allowing us to skip "building" years.  These members were first housed in the brand new "Graduate House West", now known as Hawkins Hall.  They soon discovered that their rooms had not been furnished, nor did they have telephones, which was a big deal back in 1968.  This experience allowed for strong bonds to form between the girls.
The Beta Xi's soon found a house of their own when they acquired the building that Delta Upsilon previously occupied. Now they had the task of turning a fraternity into a home suitable for females.  The only evidence of Delta Upsilon is the fact that there are no right angles remaining in the house (unless structurally necessary).
