Alpha Gamma Delta prides itself on the philanthropic efforts of collegiate chapters in raising funds for the national philanthropy: providing funds for diabetes research, treatment, and education focusing primarily on juvenile diabetes. Nationally, Alpha Gamma Delta has donated thousands of dollars to both individuals and organizations to benefit research and treatment. Every chapter has a unique philanthropic event to raise funds.

In addition to Alpha Gam Cup, we work with Delta Chi for a four-day philanthropy, Ride for Life. We ride on a stationary bike all day and all night. The bike is placed in the middle of Purdue Memorial Mall allowing students to donate on the way to class and late at night!
We also walk in the JDRF's (Juvenile Diabetes Research Association) Walk for Juvenile Diabetes and have community service events several times a semester. During this past semester, we participated in Purdue Dance Marathon and were the top Greek team at Relay for Life.
We also actively participate in other sorority and fraternity philanthropies throughout the year from participating in Phi Mu's Dance Competition to Delta Zeta's Turtle Tug! To see pictures of the Alpha Gam Cup and us participating in other philanthropies and community service events, see the Pictures section.
