Greetings from the Alpha Gamma chapter at Purdue University! We hope this semester is going well and each chapter is participating in a lot of meaningful service. The 2009 Region VI Conference will be held here, at Purdue, on October 30 and 31st.
The theme for the weekend will be 2009: A Space Odyssey…To Service and Beyond. The registration cost per person will be $30. T-shirts will be $7, with design to be posted. We have reserved a block of rooms at University Plaza Hotel, in West Lafayette. You are not obligated to stay at this location but it is the most convenient. Hotel costs will be $102 per night for a double or $122 per night for a room for four.
We are very excited to be offering a wide variety of workshops, service projects and activities. We will also be offering several APO:LEADS seminars, both Friday night and Saturday during the day. As always, there will be a banquet Saturday evening (the 31st). The banquet will include a costume contest celebrating Halloween, so started planning out your costume early.
Purdue University is located in West Lafayette, IN. We are about an hour driving time away from Indianapolis, two hours from Chicago, and about five hours from Detroit. For information on how to get there, see our Transportation page.
