Service ProjectsOur Service Program is divided into 4 main parts: Service to the University, Service to the Community, Service to the Nation, and Service to the Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts of America. Each semester our members improve local scout camps, volunteer at homeless shelters, participate in campus clean-up days, and help various national organizations like the Red Cross, Habitat for Humanity, and the Salvation Army. We are always willing to help out any organization or persons in need of an extra set of hands (or 20). If you are hosting an event or running a program and you would like our help, please contact our VP of Service or by phone: 765.494.2692. We never charge for our services, and we are always very excited to help any person. Reoccurring ProjectsSheet SignsAs a service to the University we run the Sheet Sign kiosks outside of Weatherhill and Lilly Halls. If you would like to advertise at one of these kiosks, please contact our Publicity Chair, and then bring your sheet sign to our office in Stewart G14. View Sheet Sign ScheduleFlyeringWe also post flyers around campus for many different organizations. If you are hosting an event and would like us to help you advertise please contact our Publicity Chair. Charity FundraisingEach semester we initiate a fundraiser for a charity of our choice. Past events have included a campus wide dodge-ball tournament, charity auctions, and having restaurants donate part of the proceeds of their revenue for one day. The charity of this year is YWCA. |
