Well I haven't yet gotten around to putting anything useful on this part of the site, but I do have some interesting little peices that don't fit in anywhere else right now, or just don't have their own page right now. So I figured what better place than to put them right here.

Finished Projects:

For Halloween I re-created Christine's Dressing Gown from Phantom of The Opera and a sexy little cat costume for my friend. I made both of the corsets from Past Pattern's Victorian Corset 213. I modified mine to have a side gore on each hip and two gores on each bust. The fabric is white floral brocade. The skirt is made from embroidered, beaded netting. The skirt is lined in white satin. The dress top is of the same brocade with rings in the back to lace it up. The robe is made from Paj silk bought from Thai Silks with lace tim and sequin flowers. I modified Simplicity's Renaissance Robe 9533 (discontinued). The cat costume is made of black panne velvet. The skirt pattern was my own, it is lined in basic black poly. The skirt has a tail attached of the same velvet. The ears were bought from Jo Ann's and the fishnets from Icing's.

Sleepy Hollow

Katrina's Cloak

Katrina's Striped Dress

The riding dress worn by Christina Ricci in the Tim Burton horror film Sleepy Hollow. This incredible outfit can be seen when Ricci and Johnny Depp meet in the woods. The main dress is peach trimmed with gold and green with a band of green and pink dots. The front of the costume has two long tassels coloured pale green, red and blue. There is some lace detail at the cuffs and collar. The star piece of this outfit though is the amazing hooded cape. It is made from pale blue silk embroidered with red roses. The out side of it is edged in blue fur. This is the famous costume that appeared on numerous publicity photos and is the one that everybody remembers from the film. It comes with gloves and a net underskirt. This costume has been in a private collection since the films release.

Katrina's Gloves and Necklace

A beautiful ornate pair of riding gloves made for Christina Ricci for her performance as Katrina Van Tassel in Sleepy Hollow. These gloves can clearly be seen when she meets Johnny Depp in the forest. This wonderful wardrobe piece has been professionally framed with an engraved plaque and autographed photograph.

A gorgeous golden pendant on a blue ribbon worn by Christina Ricci as Katrina Van Tassel in Sleepy Hollow. This lovely prop can clearly be seen in the scenes as the Ricci and Johnny Depp talk about "The Archer" at the burnt house. Incredible display piece presented with an engraved plaque and a colour picture of Ricci wearing the jewellery.

Lady Crane's Dress And A handkerchief As A Blindfold

The Lady Crane floating dress and blindfold used in the Tim Burton gothic classic Sleepy Hollow. This beautiful cobalt blue 2 piece costume was worn by Lisa Marie in the dream sequences of the movie including the memorable scene when she spins around and around and lifts up into the air. The outfit comes complete with the lace blindfold and can clearly be seen in the movie as Johnny Depp dreams about the tragic life of his mother.

Baltus Van Tassle's Vest

The SFX waistcoat worn by Michael Gambon as Baltus Van Tassel in the Tim Burton gothic classic Sleepy Hollow. It is worn by Gambon in the scene when all the villagers hide in the church while the Headless Horseman rides around outside and then spears Baltus Van Tassle with a fence post and drags him out through the window. The green silk embroidered waistcoat has a hole cut in the middle with fake blood staining the fabric around it, the cotton lining inside is also heavily bloodstained and it has Velcro fastenings down the front

Child's Vest

A child’s jacket worn in the Tim Burton and Johnny Depp movie Sleepy Hollow. The garment is made out of a grey velvet material and has metal buttons down the front and at the cuffs. This costume was worn by one of the child extra’s in the film, probably in the scenes early on when Depp first arrives in the town. 81 cm (32”) from collar to hem.

An Extra's Robe

A ladies dress used in the Tim Burton gothic classic Sleepy Hollow. This pretty gown is blue grey in colour and has the name V Hamilton sewn in the back along with the costumers details. The outfit has a purple and gold braid down the front with a green ribbon to lace the 2 sides together. This dress was probably worn in the dance scenes at the Van Garrett house when Johnny Depp first arrives.

The Headless Horseman's Pants and Shirt

This is a pair of the Headless Horseman's pants, screen used by the stuntman, Ray Park (also known as Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I). They are custom made and in great condition, with layers of ripped looking cloth or leather so that they look as if they have been buried for a long time. The bottom half are silk with straps at the bottom - this part was inside the boots.

The tunic worn by Christopher Walken’s character the Hessian or Headless Horseman in the Tim Burton classic Sleepy Hollow. This is the memorable top seen throughout the film. The costume was distressed for filming because in the movie the garment began to 'rot' after the decapitation and got worse as the movie progressed. The leather outfit has an ornate silver dragon pattern on it and a red silk like lining. This signature piece of wardrobe has been custom framed on a laser cut mount board with the movie logo and movie still, and glazed with plexiglass. The display measures 126 x 95 cm (49.5" x 37.5").
