Women considering living in a cooperative house may tour the houses and meet the members during the two Saturdays of Formal Rush. Women rushing must tour all seven houses. A house cannot offer a bid to anyone who has not completed Rush. Under extenuating circumstances, Rush arrangements can be made with the Vice President for Membership. Attire should be business casual: dresses, skirts, or suits.

After Formal Rush, houses will  choose which students to invite back for Informal Rush. Attire for Informal Rush should be more casual than for Formal Rush Casual: skirts or dress slacks.

After Informal and Formal Rush, the rushee will rank the houses in order of her  preference. The houses will contact the rushees they select to be members by mid-February. Rushees will only be contacted by one house. At that time she can accept or deny a bid to live in the cooperative house.

Eligibility to Rush

Students must be enrolled or considering enrollment for the fall semester at Purdue University as a full-time student. Students must be classified by Purdue as 01-05 in the spring semester or starting their first semester at Purdue in the fall semester. There is no minimum GPA requirement to participate in Rush.  However, in order to be initiated, the Purdue Cooperative Council (PCC) requires at least a 2.25 Graduate Index or Semester GPA.  Most  houses have their own minimum GPA requirement above the PCC requirement.

Rush Scholarships
Purdue Cooperative Council issues one men's and one women's scholarship to new cooperative members in the amount of $500 to be used towards tuition at  Purdue University. It is divided into $250 per semester.
