Brian BurgBrian Burg

Biographical Blurbs.

I am Brian Burg, a junior Computer Science/Mathematics double-major (plus assorted minors) enrolled at Purdue University. Currently I am also an undergraduate research assistant in the S3 Research Group under supervision of Jan Vitek. In the summer of 2008, I will be doing an internship at Amazon.com in Seattle, WA. After that, I will be studying abroad at Tohoku University, Japan for academic year 2008-2009.

I hail from Hudsonville, MI which is very near but not quite as great as Grand Rapids, MI. My interests include an eclectic taste in music, open source programming, Japanese language and culture, politics, and campus involvement in organizations such as College of Science Ambassadors and Purdue Queer Student Union, among others.

Oh by the way, here's my resume, in case you are into those kind of things.

Yes, one of those things.

I maintain a blog where I keep track of academic progress, goings-on in my life, and my thoughts about things I read whilst online or otherwise. This is the place to see what i'm up to, and where i'm travelling.

The blog is here: Photon Reflection Pond

Straight to my (inbox-shaped) heart.

Believe it or not, sometimes people want to talk to me, or tell me to do something, or ask me to do something. So naturally there is more than one way to contact me. Some are better than others. Email is the most reliable.

I'm all over the internets!

As a loyal user of the internets, I have lots of other profiles and web presence, whereby you can stalk my every move. Here are some starters, I probably forgot some other ones.
