Luna (deceased) and Orbit spent most of the day singing to each other and copying one another. They were best birdbuds.
Luna was weaned at 97 grams. She spends a lot of time at the trough, crushing her food into smaller, more aerodynamic pieces of food, 90% of which are then flung into all corners of the house. The remaining 10% are eaten, and later pooped onto the nearest item labeled "dry-clean only". It's not a very efficient system, so it takes a good part of her day. Meanwhile, Orbit woos his own reflection in the mirror. He's handsome and knows it!

Luna has a special "scratch my head, please!" squeak. It's irresistable.
Orbit is a very scholarly parakeet.
