English 680V: Visual Rhetoric in a Technological Age (Purdue)

Nathaniel and I are interested in working with the Introductory Writing Committee to produce some promotional materials for the 106 program. The conferencing subcommittee of IWC, which I am a member of, feels that incoming instructions may not get enough information or persuasion about the merits of the 106 program. Therefore, we would like to create a short but snazzy document that informs and excites people about the program. Furthermore, because there is often a scarcity of materials and strategies available for incoming teachers to use during conferences, we would like to create a packet of information and tips for conducting conferences. The project would involve using Adobe InDesign to put together both of these documents. The intent is to create informative, attractive, and usable documents.
