Earth and Atmospheric Sciences
From Chicago:
Take I-65 South to S.R. 43 (exit 178). Follow Soldiers Home Road to Kalberer Road (350 North) to Yeager
Road to Northwestern
Avenue. Follow Northwestern Avenue
into campus. Northwestern Garage Visitor parking is on the left side of
Northwestern just past the McDonald’s. You can purchase a one day permit in the
Visitor’s Center at the garage. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.
From Indianapolis:
Take I-65 North to State Road 26 (exit 172). Proceed west on State Road 26 and
turn north onto Sagamore
Parkway (U.S. 52). Continue on Sagamore Parkway for
approximately five miles to Yeager Road.
Turn south on Yeager and continue to Northwestern
Avenue. Turn south on Northwestern
Avenue and follow it into campus. Once again, use
the Northwestern Garage Visitor parking on the left side of Northwestern just
past the McDonald’s. You can purchase a one day permit in the Visitor’s Center
at the garage. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.
Airport Shuttle: The
airport shuttle runs between the Purdue Memorial Union Club hotel and Indianapolis
airport every two hours. A schedule can be found at http://www.lafayettelimo.com/. Cost is
$37 round trip (cash and traveler’s checks only). Phone: 765-497-3828, Fax

To the Purdue EAS Department: From the
Northwestern Garage Visitor Parking, walk across Northwestern
Street, then walk around the North side of the
physics building and the Civil engineering building is behind it (to the west).
The EAS Main office is on the 2nd floor (room 2169) of the Civil
Engineering building.765-494-3258.
To the Purdue Memorial Union
Club hotel: Continue on Northwestern until State
Street. Turn right on State Street, then turn
right again two blocks later to go north on one-way Grant Street. PMU will be
on the left, with parking in the Grant Street

PMU.
To the Holiday Inn Select
hotel: From I-65 exit at state road 26 (exit 172). Proceed west on State
Road 26 to downtown Lafayette (you
will see the tall dome of the city hall building). Turn left on 5th
street. Turn left again on South
Street. The hotel is at 515
South Street. 765-423-1000, 800-423-1137. The
hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Purdue, but it is probably better to drive
and park in the visitor’s center lot on Northwestern to get to the department.
To the University Inn hotel: From
I-65 exit at state road 26 (exit 172).
Proceed west on State Road 26 and turn north onto Sagamore Parkway (U.S. 52).
Continue on Sagamore Parkway
for approximately five miles until it merges with Northwestern and veers to the
right. At the next signal (near Applebee’s and Walmart)
turn left. University Inn is on the right. The hotel is at 3001
Northwestern Ave, 765-463-5511, 800-777-9808. 515
South Street. 765-423-1000, 800-423-1137. The
hotel is about a 30 minute walk north of Campus.
