Broke Dancers Crew

Broke Dancers is the Boiler Breakers premier breakdance crew, consisting of only the most dynamic, experienced, and dedicated breakers and funkstylists in the club. Broke Dancers members perform shows all across Purdue and even battle in jams across the Midwest. Broke Dancers consists of Official Members and the Extended Crew. The Crew includes graduate as well as undergraduate students, but all have a love for the dance and work hard by themselves and with other members of the crew to improve.

Broke Dancers Extended Crew

Simply being a part of the club and coming to sessions gives you the opportunity to test your skills or simply enjoy club activities. Members participate in events that range from breaking at the Student Activities Bonanza to Hip Hop Video Night/BBQ.

Any member of Boiler Breakers can be brought up at any time to perform with Broke Dancers, whether it be to officially join the crew or to perform during a large events where we need more people to dance. Often we'll need every member of the extended crew for outdoor events or workshops. Being part of the extended crew gives upcoming bboys and funkstylists more time to practice moves by themselves and develop their personal style, rather than spending time on crew routines.
