Boiler Breakers -- Sessions

Session Information

For those of you who are new to breaking, sessions are our chance to get together and practice. We usually try to session in the Recreational Sports Center (RSC) room 121 because it's a dance room and has a nice wooden floor with a full-length mirror. Occasionally, when it's reserved for an event, we'll practice in the room next door in the wrestling/mat room. When the weather is warm, we host occasional outdoor sessions. We send out notifications on session time and location changes through our mailing list, so if you haven't already signed up for it, click here.

As always, anyone is welcome to come to sessions. If you haven't had much dance experience in the past, we usually spend several weeks teaching the fundamentals. Once we believe that a dancer has the basics down, we set them free to learn what they want at their own pace. Practices are very self-motivated with the exception of drills at the beginning of every session.
