I worked September 9 until 1 in the afternoon when I went to the Eco Art Camp at the campsite below the temple. I spent the afternoon meeting with old friends from my past visit and chatting with Don Brown. The live performance started about 8 and lasted for several hours. The band was great! They played a mix of instruments including various drums from around the world, violin, guitar, base guitar, sitar, aboriginal horn, flute and a curious keyboard that is blown like a flute. It was too dark for me to photograph the band but I did manage to obtain images of the local performers who played during the afternoon. This photo shows stick dancers working with an object made of parallel sticks tied together. It is amazing the forms this object can take.
