Ham and Eggs - Jim and Don. It is September 13 and we are helping unload the sumi oven. Ito san at the right is standing at the door waiting to receive charcoal from a worker inside the oven. The oven is large enough to comfortably accommodate 3 people in a crouching position. Jim is wearing a bandana because of the charcoal dust. Even with the bandana his face was black after we finished. That is Oa san dressed in his working uniform in the background. |
