About

I joined the philosophy department at Purdue University in the fall of 2000. I'm an Associate Professor and the current Director of Graduate Recruitment, Admissions, and Funding. I did my M.A. and Ph.D. at the University of Iowa, and my B.A. at the University of Colorado, Boulder. More details can be found in my CV. I work primarily in medieval philosophy, metaphysics, and philosophical theology, but I also have research interests in philosophy of language and ethics. My primary teaching responsibilities include three courses in medieval philosophy (two undergraduate surveys and a graduate seminar). I also regularly teach several undergraduate service courses (including Introduction to Philosophy and Ethics), as well as lead a weekly medieval Latin reading group for graduate students and faculty. |
