September 17, 2006: The job fair was closing down, and we were acting like vultures around the booths. Josh decides to talk to a book publisher, with several books in front of their booth. 10 minutes later, he calls, "They are giving away the books! Come quick!" I turn around, stop by the booth, and proceed to take 3 hardcover books. Long story short, we returned the hardcover books to Borders Book store, and received $90 each of in-store credit. A cadging job well done. -Jeff Brateman

September 19, 2006: Job fair was a great success--snagged over fifty pounds of cookies, pens, water bottles, granola bars... Of course $90 for books was pretty sweet too. Next year, its stadiums and--and quarries. --JVD.
- Feb. 3, 2009: Denny's offers free breakfast to America. Carrie M. Hillaker rises early to partake. When asked why, in true cadger pith she simply stated, "Food tastes better when it is free!"
