My name is Charles Augustine and I am from a place Calicut (the name from which Calico is derived)in Kerala(called otherewise God's Own Country), India(The land of diversity).
I have spend my entire childhood in Calicut, and I have done my schooling from LFUPS and then later from Navodaya School. Deeply motivated by technlogical progress the World was making I decided to do Engineering and went to BITS, Pilani in Rajasthan, India(www.bits-pilani.ac.in) and finished my Bachelors in Electronics.
After under-graduation I have decided to work Semiconductor Industry for some time and ended up in Texas Instruments, Bangalore(www.ti.com/india) as Design Engineer and a year later moved to Philips Semiconductor, Bangalore (www.philips.com).
After two years in the industry position I decided to go back to College for higher education. Right now I am in Purdue University, IN, US (www.purdue.edu) working towards my PhD in Nano-Electronics.
