Though CDOG does not offer formal training sessions at this time, we are happy to help memebrs problem solve behavior or training issues as well as referral to training classes and trainers in the area.
Our Cofounder/President, Erin James, is our primary training resource. Erin and her dog, Maggie, are currently competing in dog agility, working as a Delta Society Pet Partners therapy dog team, and occasionally do dog training demos in high school classes and at pet related events.
Erin has spent 7 years volunteering at an animal shelter in her hometown where she started a pilot dog training program and fosters dogs during the summer. Besides training dogs, Erin has also worked with goats, sheep, pigs, horses and even llamas!
