Simply come to one of our meetings every Tuesday at 6:30 at LWSN B155 and sign up, or contact an officer and let us know you are interested.
All you have to do is be a Purdue Student and do service whenever you are able. You become an official member by paying dues ($10.00) and filling out a new member form, as well as an availability survey so that we can plan new service events. You are NOT required to go to meetings or socials, etc. We are a service club, and we encourage doing as much service as possible, but we also DO NOT have a minimum level of service hours members need to complete. We strive to be a club adaptable to different schedules and availabilities, so we allow our members to participate as much or as little as they can.
Dues are $10 dollars for the academic year. These help us cover annual District dues for the club.
By being an official, dues-paying member means that your service hours and participation in events count towards our club goals. It also means that you are covered by Kiwanis International's insurance policy if you are hurt at any of our service events.
