Leadership is one of the tenets of Circle K International. Purdue Circle K offers various leadership positions within the club: Officers are elected in the spring semester, and begin their terms on April 1st of the year they are elected. Once the club has voted on officers, members may apply for chairmanship of various committees. Officers select from amongst the applicants based on their qualifications, ideas for their committee, and previous dedication and reliability. The terms for both Officers and Committee Chairs last from April 1st of the year they are elected/selected to April 1st of the following year.
However, Leadership means more than just having a title or position. Each and every one of our members is the kind of person who takes action when needed, and leads the way forward through his or her service and dedication to others. Being a member of Purdue Circle K means steping up to meet challenges and achieve the goals of our club. While not every member may have the same ammount of time to dedicate to our club, each and every one of them takes the lead in every event they participate in.
If you're ready to start taking the lead, you can sign up for service projects here.
