If you are currently a member, you should be receiving weekly emails updating you on what is going on in our club. In that email, there is a link that takes you to a Google Doc where you will be able to sign up for our service projects. To find out where we meet for service events, vistit the 'Event Pickup Location' page.
Here is how you sign up on the Google Doc:
1. ) Click the tab that corresponds with the week you want to sign up for (e.g. 9.10-9.17) and this will pull up all the service projects and events going on that week.
2.) Now, pick the day(s) of the event or events that you want to sign up for.
3.) Suppose you want to volunteer at the Hanna Center on Tuesday. Go ahead and click the “name “ field and type in your name. Then fill in the other fields with your contact and driving information (if you can't drive simply say 'No'. If you are driving yourself, please say so under the comment field). Fill out the same information under each event that you want to participate in. Don't worry about saving anything; the spreadsheet automatically saves any changes.
[You don't HAVE to put in your phone number if you feel uncomfortable sharing that information, but please do put your email so we can notify you in case of cancellations or changes.]
4.) Show up and make a difference! The event pickup location is the parking lot/curb right behind Schleman Hall of Student Services.
If for some reason you can't make it to an event you signed up for, please remove your information from the corresponding event as soon as possible to avoid any confusion for our service and event organizers.
Thats it! It's just that easy.
