Blood Drive: We will be hosting a blood drive this Tuesday, September 16th from 11am-4pm between Schleman Hall and Johnson (the nursing building) in an Indiana Blood Center traveling clinic bus! Pop by the bus when you get the chance! Donating blood will count as an hour of service!
Club Meeting: Be sure to come to our club meeting this Tuesday at 6:30pm in Lawson B155! There will be short presentation for a new service opportunity!
Kiwanis Lunch: Regular Kiwanis lunch this Thursday! Meet at Schleman at 11:45am for free lunch and conversation with our sponsoring Kiwanis Club!!
Hanna Center/Glen Acres: Keep in mind that we will be changing our schedule this week! We will be at Glen Acres Elementary After School program on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30pm-5:30pm, and we will be at the Hanna Center on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30pm-5:30pm! This change will be in effect for the rest of the semester because Glen Acres has more kids that need us!
Bark for Life: Purdue Colleges Against Cancer is hosting their second annual Bark for Life Event this Sunday, September 21st from 1-4pm in Memorial Mall! Registration is $5 and you can either register online or the day of the event! Spend the afternoon hanging out with friends and petting puppies! *Click Here!* for more information!
Fall Service Kick-Off: If you registered for this District Event, this is a reminder that it will be from 10am-3pm this Saturday, September 20th. You will be receiving a confirmation email from the district at some point this week!
Fall Rally: Our lovely Lieutenant Governor, Shayna Cole, has planned an awesome service project for us and the rest of the Metro Fields Division of Indiana Circle K! We will be volunteering at the Indianapolis Zoo’s annual ‘Zoo Boo’ event on Saturday, October 4th from 1:30-3:30pm. We will most likely go to dinner or do something social afterwards as well! *Register Here!* and on our club sign ups by this Saturday, September 20th at 11:59pm!

Club Dues: Dues for this year are $15 and due by Tuesday, October 28th! You can pay your dues at any of our club meetings, or you can stop by during our office hours: Wednesdays, 12:30-2:10, Thursdays, 12:30-1:30, and Fridays, 10:30-12 in Stewart B6! Please do your best to bring exact change!
Boilermaker Half Marathon: Come volunteer to help run (no pun intended) this year’s Boilermaker Half Marathon on Saturday, October 18th. Register for your shift *Here!* and please make note of your registration on our club sign ups by Monday, October 13th!
Honeysuckle Removal: We will be helping Prophetstown State park get ready for the season and remove Honeysuckle plants on Saturday, October 18th from 10am-noon! Bring your gardening gloves!
Make A Difference Day: The Boiler Volunteer Network is hosting the annual Make A Difference Day! This event is going to be on Saturday, October 25th from 8:30am-1:30pm and lunch will be provided, as well as a free shirt! We will be helping various charitable organizations in the Lafayette area throughout the day! Sign up on the club sign ups by Friday, September 26th!
Fun Fact: Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on A Game of Thrones, adopted the dog that played her dire wolf in the show. The dog is named Zunni.
