I hope you all had a fun weekend! This will be my last e-mail as your Circle K president, and to those of you that I will not see Tuesday at my last meeting I would like to take a moment to thank you for the past two years! You all have made my term so much fun; I have learned so much from all of you and you have helped me grow into the person I am today. Thank you so so much for an amazing two years, and never stop serving!
Club Meeting: Join us this Tuesday at 6:30pm in Lawson B151 for our club meeting! This is a great way to stay up to date and get to know fellow Circle K members! This is a great meeting to come to if you are interested in hearing about the upcoming international convention, and to pick up your quarter zips if you haven’t yet! There are leadership opportunities for the international convention so if you are looking to build your resume make sure to come to our meeting!

Boiler Blast: Join us for a day of service on Saturday, April 11th from 8:30am-1:30pm to serve our community with the rest of Purdue’s campus and celebrate Circle K International Service Week! Sign up on our club sign ups and *Here!* under the group name Purdue Circle K by midnight on Friday, April 3rd.
It’s My Closet: On Saturday, April 4th and Saturday, April 18th from 11am-1pm we will be helping the organization, It’s My Closet with their clothing drive and store. It’s My Closet is an organization similar to Goodwill, except their priority population is children and teenagers. Help them sort through make-up, clothing donations, and help customers find their right style!
West Lafayette Public Library Book Fair: Help our local public library raise funds by setting up and tearing down their annual book fair! Serve by helping to set up on Saturday, April 11th from 2pm-5pm or help with the tear down on Saturday, April 18th from 10am-noon or noon-2pm!
International Convention: Are you looking for a way to have fun, serve your community, and learn about the world’s largest collegiate organization this summer? Well you’re in luck because this year’s Circle K International Convention, also known as CKIx, will be held in Indianapolis from June 23rd – 28th. Please *Click Here!* for detailed information! The Challenge 5k: The Purdue Center for Cancer Research needs your help in facilitating their annual Challenge 5k fundraiser! They will need help passing out registration material on Friday, April 17th and help facilitating the race on Saturday, April 18th! Sign up for your shift *Here!* and make sure to put your name and shift on our club sign ups so that you’ll get credit for your service hours!
Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast: Every year, Lafayette Kiwanis Club has their annual pancake breakfast fundraiser! The funds raised at this event help Kiwanis make a difference in the community throughout the year, their money goes to places like Riley Hospital for Children, and their two new projects, the Kiwanis Education Station at Columbia Park Zoo and Kiwanis Toddler Playground in West Lafayette's Cumberland Park! Join them on Saturday, April 25th from 9am-11:30am to help distribute pancakes and talk with guests. Did I mention you don’t actually start volunteering until 9:45am? That’s because they’ll give you free pancakes!!! Sign up on our club sign ups ASAP because there are only 6 slots available!
Fun Fact: The Indiana District of Kiwanis International donated one of the helipads that is at Riley Hospital.
