Today we stopped at the New Holland Nursery on the A5, a few miles west of Llanfair P.G., and browsed for awhile, then headed to Beaumaris.
Aside from being a lovely town, Beaumaris is home to one of the finest castles in Wales. Beaumaris Castle was the last in a series of castles built by King Edward I but was never completed. It is most impressive and must not be missed if you are in the area. The rest of the day was spent in driving to Chester and wandering around the downtown area. Chester is home to a small Roman outdoor theatre which has only recently been excavated.
We stayed the night at a Travelodge in Bebington, on the Wirral peninsula.
