Can a cricket game really go on for FIVE days?
Yes! Though that's called a 'Test' match and is played only at international level! Shorter versions of the game are played for around 8 hours, called a One Day International (ODI). Our club games are played for around 7 hours typically.
So what are the rules of cricket?
There are NO RULES!!! |
No, seriously!?
Um...uh...why don't you go check out this webpage from BBC cricket?
Wait a minute! Why do I see only Indian guys in your website? Is this club only for Indians?
Not really! We have been trying to get people from all the countries we can, but so far only cricket crazy Indians have signed up... which isn't surprising since cricket is like 'a religion in India' (If you follow cricket, you'll see this phrase repeated a lot, especially if you talk to an Indian! Just remember where you heard it first!)
What about women?
Sure, women are welcome! No discrimination here!
So, what's the difference between cricket and baseball?
Glad you asked that! We've created a separate baseball section for this! Click here
