We’re getting ready for a busy Spring semester! USB has joined arms with ACM, the Entrepreneurship Club, and Purdue Hackers to create Purdue’s 1st and largest student-run hackathon – BoilerMake.
BoilerMake is a 36-hour coding competition in which over 400 students from schools across the midwest can create their own software and hardware products and compete to win $10,000 in prizes. This event will be held from February 7-9 in Purdue’s own France A. Córdova Recreational Sports Center. Every meal (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) will be provided to students free of charge, transportation to/from the event will be free of charge, the event itself is free to attend if admitted after application. Students are encouraged to apply to BoilerMake by December 31st.
USB’s own Kirby Kohlmorgen and Brittany Vacchiano hold the reins on the event as President and VP respectively.
