The John Hancock Center

Stats: 1,127ft tall with 100 stories; Currently the 3rd tallest building in Chicago, after the Fordham and Trump towers are built it will be the fourth tallest in Chicago.
The John Hancock Center opened in 1969 and was the second tallest builing in the U.S. at the time. This building currently containg the highest residence in the world. It is said that one of the best views of Chicago is from the 95th floor "The Signature Room" restaurant's ladies room.


The Trump International Hotel and Tower

Stats: 1,362ft tall with 92 stories; Will be the 3rd tallest building in Chicago.


The Trump Tower is named after Donald Trump, of course. The tower will break a record for the world's highest residence with condiminiums on the 89th floor. The Trump International Hotel and Tower should be finished by 2009.


The Sears Tower

Stats: 1,450ft(roof), 1,729ft(with antenna) tall with 108 sotries; Tallest current building in Chicago and U.S.
The Sears Tower opened in 1973 and was the tallest building in the world at the time. The Sears Tower is the finest location for an office in Chicago. The richer the company, the higher they are in the Sears Tower. In the U.S., only the Pentagon has more floor space.



The Fordham Spire

Stats: 1,600ft(roof) and 2000ft(with antenna) tall with 123 stories; Will be the tallest building in the U.S.

The Spire is slated to be located at the junction of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. The Spire is to have 200 to 250 condos located above a 20-story hotel. The Spire is should be completed in 2010.
