The Shedd Aquarium is the second largest indoor aquarium in the world and offers an excellent view of undersea life. The Shedd Aquarium opened to the public in 1930 and has been memorizing audiences since. The aquarium holds 5 million gallons of water and 8,000 animals. The aquarium has not only fish, but birds, marine mammals, insects, amphibians, and snakes too. The aquarium features exibits on the Great Barrier Reef, the Philippine Coral Reef, and the Caribbean Coral Reef. A trip to the Shedd Aquarium offers a look under what, a look that we often do not get to see.
